Bowling Team Continued their Winning Ways


For those who haven't heard the Lady Hornets bowling team are currently ranked fourth in the nation, the highest in team history.

Most people on campus were wondering, "We exactly have a bowling team at Delaware State University?" The simplest way to answer your question is, "Yes we do have a bowling team at Delaware State University."

Led by bowling coach Kim Terrell-Kearney, winner of 11 bowling titles in her professional career, the lady hornets have the prefect chemistry to have such successful winning season: Diverse and Dedication.

Since they are running away in the MEAC North Standings, Delaware will be the number one seed for the upcoming MEAC tournament (March 20-22 in Greensboro, North Carolina). This is shades from last season when Delaware State finish with a school record 74 wins and finished 11th in the nation.

This season the lady hornets have some unfinished business to take care of:
  1. Finish in the 10 the nation
  2. Become MEAC Champions
  3. Bring home a national championship to Delaware
It's not going to be easy but with diversity and chemisty in the lane in every competition the lady hornets will a dangerous threat to every Division I NCAA teams in the nation and the MEAC conference.
